The Vanuatu flag has a centralized management and all applications must be submitted directly to head office in original. We therefore request all applications to be given at our office or sent via courier. The application forms as well as medical format can be requested via soft copy at crew@tirm.uk.

Since the applications need to be sent via courier the processing time for full term endorsements depends upon how quickly the correct documentation is submitted to our office. Once we receive the correct originals it will normally take between 4-5 weeks to receive the full term licenses.

The general requirements for officer endorsements are as follows:

• Colour photo

• Valid passport copy

• Vanuatu Officer application form (see Application Form page)

• Vanuatu Medical form (see Application Form page)

• Certificate of Competency (COC)

• Any supporting STCW certificates and copy of CDC
